I'd nix the copperhead and add testify

You have to have mystery romp. Take away the heffy.

Lucky town's flair incident is much better than their pub ale

Sorority blonde is good enough to keep non mavens happy.

Your last list is looking better though

This. Very good beer.

Wasn't sure if it was always available.

The testify isn't moving, I love it, but it's just sitting, not to mention that you lose half a pint when pouring a growler.

During summer months, i think the Heffy would be preferable, and they've had some requests for it. Mystery Romp from Oct-Mar.

The Flair Incident is the best thing that LuckyTown makes, the Pub Ale may be more of a gateway beer and is their latest offering.

You're a fan of Sorority Blonde? We haven't seen any Oxford tap handles, and Mason always brings bottles to events when everyone else bring kegs. We're thinking Luckytown blonde instead of Oxford. If Oxford is available on draft, they would be the first choice.

Is this on the gulf coast? I'm guessing no. Probably Jackson, huh?

I'm not a fan of sorority blonde but figured it would be good to have an oxford beer. I wouldn't waste much space on gateway beers. Pub ale is boring just as sorority blonde is. Heffy as well. As long as you have timber beast, so pro cicada series, mystery romp you'll get the maven business.

True, but that's jut 3 taps. What I'm looking for is what will get you and the rest of the FBD mavens that pass through Jackson in on a regular basis. I get the feeling that some think that this growler station is subpar at best, but it has so much potential. WF only has 4 taps, but is doing more business.

It is definitely subpar. I went there once with an empty growler and walked out with it still empty (I think that was the time we met ). In order to get maven business and make a name you need good beer--not beer that the rest of the public will buy. If you want to move product then load up abita strawberry (when it's in season), fat tire, sorority blonde, etc. If you want good beer look at my original post in this thread.

I've known for a while, and I've been trying to encourage the manager to take more control over the situation. The problem is that he needs about 8 taps that get maven business and about 4 taps that the rest of the public will buy.

I'd bet the testify isn't moving because people don't know it is there to be honest. He needs to start a weekly newsletter announcing what beers are on tap like h&h does. I drive by that store everyday and would stop if it became worth it.

No updates yet, but I sent this thread to the manager and he said it was very helpful.

I should know more by Friday, but in the meantime, if anyone who missed this Saturday has any other advice, I'm sure it would be appreciated.

It really is a shame we didn't get it in time for MS Craft Beer Week.

Thanks do all of the suggestions. This is what the station looked like this morning. This is much better than it was two weeks ago.

Looks good. I'd consider some more Schlafly stuff if you can get it.
