Music Direct has these bundles with everything you need. The speakers are powered, so there’s no need for a stand alone amplifier. Also, if you want more bass, there is a sub out, so you can add a subwoofer. Great turntable as well.I think you can choose one that has Bluetooth capability for an extra $50.

Bluesound Node 2i is a great hi-res streamer at a good price.

yep. It seems to be everyones favorite. I am leaning more towards the Cambridge. Id really like the streamer to have front panel controls so I dont have to have my phone to just start a artist/album or playlist

Old man stuff

No amount of money will get that lateralus album sounding good. I had it mailed to me by accident with an order once and that's when I found out picture discs are worthless.

Question for the thread. I got a turntable for Christmas. How trustworthy is Amazon for buying vinyls? I’m not knowledgeable in the arena and would think a “random” seller on Amazon wouldn’t yield good vinyls.

I buy records from Amazon all the time. If they arrive improperly packaged for shipping, I return them with impunity until they do arrive properly packaged.

I forgot what I was searching for but came across Rhino Entertainment, or Warner, for the first time during their twelve days of Christmas sale.

I may have gone a bit overboard, but it was my Christmas present to myself. Finally got the last two I was waiting on today.

Here is the back of the yessingles(pretty cool). I had heard their songs all the time and enjoyed them but never knew what band it was. One day I decided to look up some songs and they all were Yes songs. I just thought it was strange I had never heard that band name but knew so many of their songs.

This wasn’t part of the sale but I love a good soundtrack.

Oh and they came in beefed up mailers. Most of it came separate, kind of strange, but if multiple came in one they would be in their own mailer in a larger box with the various packing cushioning.

They all came in pristine. No damaged corners or I’ve gotten some with like weird creases in the outer jacket you don’t see until taking the cellophane off.

This sounds amazing for a 1959 live record. Cal Tjader Monterey Concerts. Bass is more forward and stronger than usual for that era. Picked up NM for $15, not bad.
