Thats a post game write up from an LSU blogger from ATVS.
But I agree with everything he said. Regardless of having 2 starting OL out, if you can't even muster 100 yards of offense, then maybe intramurals is more your speed.

I wonder where ohio st, the team that just won a national title with a 3rd string QB making his 3rd start ever, ranks in terms of being "unlucky". I didn't see a metric quantifying losing your heisman candidate QB preseason, only to lose your other heisman candidate QB before the conference championship.

I'm curious to know if any of these people saying it's not luck are included in the group that says it's all luck when Miles wins.

We were unlucky, but that Arksnsas, Auburn, ND loss was flat embarrassing.
Cam robinson's "LOL" tweet after Bama shows the respect we've lost to the real teams

Nothing about luck. It's about having a qb or not.
Then why do the Miles haters continue to shite on our 2007 bcs championship?

A simplistic point of view that ignores what actually happened in that game. Go back and watch it.

Bama, ND, and I'll concede hogs(debatable) were close to wins, but Wis, UF, and OM were close to losses as well. Unfortunately, I think LSU finished about right.
I'll grant the
Hog's were "cursed" Seven wins by 3 scores or more and Six close losses.

LSU fans don't believe in bad luck. they only believe in good luck if the team does well so they don't have to attribute it to the coaching staff.

Read the article. LSU's pythagorean stats when compared to its results were unlucky. LSU should have faired better in close games given their seasonal performance.

Ok therick711....if an algorithm in math states that LSU was unlucky in the 2014 football season...I get it.
As a LSU fan, I think the Tigers are unlucky in several games each year including wins...not just losses.
What is the difference or definition of "luck". State dominated LSU and we came close to getting "luck" in the end. Auburn beat the crap out of LSU. The Tigers should have beat OM and UF and did, but barely.
Bama and Wisky and ND were even games and LSU lost 2 of 3. Yes LSU could have scored some points on the Hogs and beat them, but how can anyone say LSU was robbed. So 9-4 or 8-5 seems legit to me.

I wouldn't even make my worst enemy have to sit through rewatching the amount of suck that was LSUs offense.
injuries are PART OF THE GAME. I didn't hear any Florida fans bellyaching about luck when they went 4-8 and lost 12 starters last season, arkansas mopped the floor with us.
