Will watch the weather, mostly the rain, lightning. I'll make a decision since I'm open thru Monday. Camp, boat, tackle chores to do so I'll probably go at some point.

I got a king sized bed. I don't know any kings, but if one came over, I guess he'd be comfortable. "Oh, you're a king, you say? Well you won't believe what I have in store for you! It's to your exact specifications! I believe I can set up your old lady, too!"

When I was a boy, I laid in my twin-sized bed and wondered where my brother was.

Looking at the forecast this last Monday showed a 100% Thur, Fri, and Saturday.

Now it's 20%, 10%, and 10%. I think i might head down to Toledo. Haven't been in several years.

I think the only big shower in NWLA will be tonight, we are actually under tornado watch right now.

That being said, I will be laying 1/2 pallet of sod in my backyard on Saturday, might get the kayak wet on Sunday.

It's the only job that you can be right 50% of the time and be proud of that.

find a flounder hole

Godspeed. I'm convinced flounder "holes" only exist close to Fourchon/Elmer's.

I'll be finishing my tournament rigging for PP. I might even hit some freshwater during the rain just to test my new setup in "tournament conditions". Initial forecast for PP is clear.

Started the weekend early in Toledo Bend. Looks like the weather might give us a break. We fished with bassmaster hall-of-famer Harold Allen today. He guides with Living the Dream now. Hopefully we can nail some the rest of the weekend, cause we did ok today.

Yea I don't have much hope for this tournament, then again I usually never have much confidence in myself, especially in a new-to-me place. I usually fish pretty hard for the first few hours and if things aren't going well end up just hanging out by myself in the marsh and drink beer.

Looks like it's showing 60% for Saturday but doesn't seem to pickup until that afternoon. Going to load up tonight and probably be between GM and Grand Isle early in the morning. With such wide boundaries I'm winging it.

Made a loop this morning on the way to work, to listen for turkeys. Pegged one on the first stop, and he sounded like a man.
Will be there in the morning, but with my luck he'll be 2 parishes over.
