Would that be Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter? Peggy is on her death bed if not dead already. Maybe it's her granddaughter and Steve?

The only "love story" I can even think of is Black Widow and Hulk.

Critics love "gritty" superhero movies.
If done right they do.
Fan4stic and Batman v. Superman are examples of what not to do when making a gritty comic book film.

Roll Tide is onto something.
And, not granddaughter...niece (in the movies).

PROBABLE SPOILERS
It makes sense that they could be referring to the Cap-Sharon relationship. There's a leaked pic of Chris Evans attending a funeral scene, so it could be Peggy Carter's. Hence the somewhat "ickiness" of a relationship with her granddaughter (I believe that will be her relationship to Peggy in the MCU)

You must have missed Batman v Superman's tomatometer rating.
Disney knows what they are doing though. They'll get their homers and fanboys in for early screenings, treat them like gods, get a healthy dose of positive reviews at the start, do another big screening right before it comes out for their second batch of positive reviews, and then we'll get the true perspective of it from the critics who see it last because Disney and them don't have a quid pro quo relationship.
It's Tomato-score will be in the 80-90 range I'd bet. Average score will hover around 7-7.2. What I don't like is that they are holding about 25 fan screenings tomorrow across North America (3 weeks before release) and are still going to release this overseas a week early. So stupid. Say what you will about Warner Brothers' superhero movies, but at least no one else gets them before we do.

How dare you! Only Warner would stoop so low!

From IGN review and NON spoiler
Civil War’s airport battle sequence is the best superhero brawl ever depicted on the big screen. It is a comic book fan’s wet dream, with every character getting a moment to shine in battle. Spider-Man gets his quips and licks in, Panther throws down in a style all his own, and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) gives both of these new additions a run for their money in some of the set-piece’s most nerdgasm-inducing moments. This is the superhero movie fight scene people will remember and geek out about for years.

This is from Crave...this seems to be a common theme so far. Incredible action, but the story is a bit weak.

Captain America: Civil War has a storyline, and it’s a rather complicated one. That’s actually the film’s biggest flaw, the fact that it’s a little too big for its britches and relies overmuch on concepts that fall apart under close scrutiny. There is a scheme underway that makes very little sense once we find out what it actually is, but it’s only revealed right at the very end and by that point you’re too invested to focus on any of those little details. You might scratch your head about it when you get home, and write an annoyed social media post, but you won’t actually care while you’re watching the film and that is the mark of good entertainment.

Warner's problem was how they presented the movie to critics. Also, Snyder's name alone took points off of the movie. There are still some in Hollywood who believe that no matter the movie, the director controls every single aspect of the movie they direct and with these big blockbusters, that couldn't be further from the truth. Zack Snyder is a visual storyteller, nothing more. You don't bring him in to write your stories, you bring him in to make it look great on screen. Look at the movies he made his name on: 300 and Watchmen. Those were pre-written stories. What was his job? Make it look great on screen. And he succeeded.
As for Batman vs. Superman, the only objective issue that movie had was the editing. That's what happens when you have a 3 hour final cut ready to deliver to theaters and the studio tells you to cut another 30 minutes off so they can have more showings per day. TDKR suffered for it, Exodus suffered from it, Kingdom of Heaven did too.
I'm sure some people will have other issues with Batman vs. Superman, but those are subjective issues. If you don't like the characterizations of Batman, Superman, or Lex, then that's fine, but each of their characterizations have a basis in their comic book history. The Martha moment has drawn a lot of negativity, but I'd rather they use something simple and direct rather than something convulted. /rant
