Oh, I gotcha. Indicate which way they are leaning when asking the question.

I would feel that could sway people in one direction or the other when giving their opinions. I would personally rather just give the options and get responses before giving my leaning on my own question.

Context is the most important thing when asking for advice

League size
Scoring
rosters
W/L

Things like that.

The worst questions are "should I pick up so and so?"

Or should I trade for so and so?

Without giving info on who is on your team already. Common sense goes a long way
