Tongue in cheek of course but also some truth.
Can you name one person in the Bitcoin community that if they died today, it would tank bitcoin 50%?
If Vitalik dies today what happens to eth? If you are being intellectually honest you know the answer.

And on and on. Admittedly, gold and silver are hard to make a case for from my point of view on adaptability, but that's fine. They're like bitcoin - steady and unchanging. Others commodities adapt.

You are really stretching. lol.
I live next to a coffee farm and they would tell you it’s the same product now as it was 100 years ago.

Anyone have thoughts on how lack of staking in the eth etf will affect demand?

That is not stretching. Developments happen to those commodities all the time.

5 years ago? A lot.
Today? Negligible impact, layer 1 is finished.

What if Satoshi's wallets start showing movement?

Joking but kind of not, but it would crash for a different reason. While he is alive, we know 1%+ of all circulating supply will never be sold. If he is dead, there is zero assurance the next in line at MSTR would feel the same way.
ETA: I've recently developed the opinion that Michael Saylor's health is the single most important thing for the price of Bitcoin in the short/medium term (outside of some blockchain hack/bug)

Aside from Satoshi himself making a comeback, this would be the crypto apocalypse

Big day today for crypto in Congress (unless you're a BTC maxi). It's still not too late to make a quick call to your rep to support FIT21. Biden admin says that while they oppose the bill, but will not veto it.

Very big deal and it removes a big portion of the risk investors have faced. We should run hard after this.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this paves the way for banks to hold bitcoin and make fiat loans against the asset.
I don't think we see this for a few years as we still have too much volatility but the path is there.

were these actually ever discovered?

You may be thinking of H.J. Res. 109, which is currently sitting on Biden's desk awaiting a decision by his handlers.
FIT21 is a much more comprehensive bill that clarifies many questions between who has authority over what and what is considered a security or commodity, what is considered decentralized, and what is the process of moving from a security to a commodity as a project progresses. It also provides consumer protection against rugs and whatnot
