How does the new hoops assistant affect recruiting?

Apparently Wade has hired Bill Armstrong from Ole Miss.
I don't know a lot about him or what his recruiting strengths are. Most expected Wade to hire a Louisiana guy with his last spot, but Coach D has been saying he doesn't think you need a Louisiana guy. Wade should take over Louisiana himself.

Never heard of him, but from reading up he seems like a solid coach with a track record of being a solid recruiter and player developer.

Johnny was a Louisiana guy and it didn't get us much.

At Tiger Tour in Lafayette tonight Will Wade said he was hired because is experience in the SEC. He said he has been at Ole Miss for the last 11 years.

Except the top rated players in Louisiana for 2013, 2014, and 2015.
Definitely missed in 2016 though.
