The NFL has been struggling with ratings lately but MNF was actually a ratings boost right in the middle of the controversy. Too early to tell how this will affect things moving forward but I'm not convinced the kneeling is going to hurt ratings by itself. The numbers say otherwise.

I'm not sure about that. What I've read is that they're up 3% from last year when you include the Monday game. The problem with that is that the Monday game last year that they're comparing it to was up against the first Hillary/Trump debate which obviously had a huge impact.
