Yes. Yes I did. And I fully 100% agreed with the statement I said I agreed with.

You don’t understand anything that just happened just now, do you?

AND you can still support a coach while still being skeptical and even doubtful of their abilities—Which makes up the majority of this board right now and what “positigers” (ugh) are too dumb to realize is not the same as hate. The most hateful crap on this board is consistently spewed by them.

I support him because he's the Head Coach at LSU. That's been my attitude since Cholly Mac, the first coach in my lifetime that was clearly PAST his prime. I don't expect to like every aspect, but as an alumni and supporter I want the best for LSU.

Regardless of what we approve of, it's now up to Coach O to make this successful or not. I really hope it's the first option, but if it's not I hope it is dealt with quickly.

I support O and Coach E and Coach A and their staffs, along with the entire program. Many of you maniacal hate mongers are against everything, and know very little about coaching football or building a leadership team with people around you that share a common vision.

I feel that Canada was the biggest inhibitor of success last year and he is gone thankfully. O’s last year recruiting class was brilliant, and this year is loaded, and our entire team is loaded. We need great QB play. . His recruiting skills are proving to be what we thought they were.

Secondly, he and Aranda see eye to eye, Aranda endorsed (fact) the hiring of Ensminger, and our defense will be powerful. Coach E has a clean slate to design a pro-style get the ball in play makers hands offense. Ya’ll will be surprised how effective it will be.

I realize that it was 20 years ago, but Ensminger was the hottest name in CF as an OC- yesterdya’s Briles, Gilbert, etc. This is his final chapter to write a very strong offense philosophy, and will be a contributor to an optimistic locker room which is being overlooked by most of you posters. Get on the bus and root for Tiger success regardless of who our coaches are - which happen to be 0, A, and E in the leadership roles.

I support him because he is the coach of LSU. I want LSU to succeed not matter what. I also like the way this team finished. The team one games this year on more than just talent alone. They looked fresh down the stretch and were getting better every game. I thought they were well coached and properly motivated.

I support him...why wouldn't I he has only been our coach for one season. I will only judge him on his days at LSU.

I support O in the fact that I want him to be successful. I want O to go 15-0 next year with a National Championship. However, my confidence in O is 0. And I am more concerned about the future of this program under him. Fired Canada because he's petty and wants to 'prove' he's the HC, couldn't land a proven OC, and hired the intern from last year.

It's just doesn't look good how he's running things. He knows he's not qualified to be head coach here, and he's going to feel like he needs to 'prove' he is.

The great thing about this current situation LSU football finds itself in is...it’s not permanent. Much like the Archer, Hallman and DiNarso days.

Ride out this wave of mediocrity and the program will rise again at some point. Does it suck to see the program we all love so much fall to the depths some see it going...yep!

But the thing is...if O succeeds GREAT! If he fails, he’s gone...I will continue to support LSU football bc I love it. As of right now, O is LSU football therefore I support him.

I never want this team to fail

I will support anyone who is the head coach of LSU football. I will support letting a head coach go if he is not successful.

I don’t support him. He was an obscure, unemployed middle aged assistant coach when Les Miles gave him an assistant post 2 years ago. Apparently the only thing going for him is he’s from Louisiana as if that is some stellar qualification. The slide to mediocrity has begun. Just watch.

Honestly, I support him until the team is in a full blown nose dive. He waded through his interim coach games successfully and maintained going into this year. Let's see how next year plays out.

We sucked as a program after Hallman and DiNardo is the one who came in here and started keeping the in state talent

I support him... and Miles before him. And Jerry, Bill, Mike, Curly, and Jerry D., before them. I don’t waste my time ripping our coaches on message boards, and I don’t think King, nor Alleva would do my bidding anyway.

I like the way O talks, and the fact that you can overlay Cookie Monster videos of him talking.

I think you evaluate a coach on the performance of his program. A 9-3 regular season, with a 6-2 record in the SEC is acceptable performance in the first year of inheriting a program that had depth and injury issues on both lines. If you see improvement from there, you keep him, if you don’t, you fire him. It’s utterly ridiculous to fire someone after 1 season, when your primary reason is you didn’t like a coordinator hire. Quite simply, if you want good people to work for you, they need to know they will be given the opportunity to be evaluated rationally and on their own merit

This is the most rational post I've seen in a while, here's an up vote.

O's critics would say why wasn't Canada vetted better? How could O and Canada be so incompatible if O hired him and look at what we had to pay for one year of his service. Shouldn't that blame fall squarely on the head coach? Especially one that made the appeal for his job based on hiring the best coordinators and letting them coach. Coach O broke his word and meddled in the offense.

Let's not forget he most successful coach in the history of our program was held to that standard and got fired. Why should O not be subject to the same scrutiny?

I support him yes. Questions to some of the things he does yes. Just for clarification a lot of folks where all about hiring Aranda as head coach. Aranda is all for the offensive hire that was made. I don’t think coach O made it alone.
