I ran Boston yesterday setting a PR at 3:54. My quads are more sore than normal which I presume is due to the first few miles being downhill. I was amazed at how the city really gets behind the race. Next up for me is the Berlin Marathon in September in my quest for the Abbott world majors.

ETA. I wore my LSU visor while running. I bet I heard over 400 Geaux Tigers.

Dude love it! That’s awesome.

Got my first pair of super shoes (adidas adios pro 2’s). I did 2 quick strides in them to dick around this evening and holy hell I feel like I’ve opened a whole new world.

Congrats!

Question: How did you gain entry to Boston with setting a personal PR of 3:54?

Asking for myself as I want to run all of the World Majors but feel that one is out of reach due to qualifying time and my PR being about 40 mins apart.

TIA
