re: Just found out I’ve got a large brain tumor today.

Not a brain tumor, but I had a lemon sized tumor removed from the head area. It was very scary. The diagnosis freaked us out and the recovery was long, but I was lucky. UAB in Birmingham has some very accomplished surgeons.

I have three people in my life that were diagnosed with brain tumors. Two had the tumors surgically removed. One of those had chemo following surgery. That was five years ago and he is cancer free today. The other didn't even require chemo or radiation follow up.
The third person was treated with meds and a lifestyle change (reduced stress). She still has the tumor but that was 30 years ago and she lives a full life.
Like you said, God has this! Prayers for a good outcome.
ETA - All three were treated at MD Anderson in Houston.

Not with brain tumors, but other cancer I do. Let me know if you need anything.

Sorry to hear, but the good news is you can go out and do anything you want and just blame it on the tumor.

So sorry to hear that. Prayers to you.

Thoughts and prayers, man, Its probably just a benign thing that needs to be removed. Bump in the road.

If you’re in New Orleans area look up Dr Wilson at UMC. Very smart man (not that all neurosurgeons aren’t), I’ve personally worked with him in surgery and know he does an excellent job

Stay strong and positive bro.

I worked with someone whose wife had two of these. She was not supposed to survive. She is alive, well and teaching kids still.
I will pray.

No warning just 1-10 instantly. I also started getting intense head aches about two months ago.

I’m so sorry to hear this. A family member had a large brain tumor. It was successfully removed and they are doing fine. That was over 20 years ago and medicine has improved dramatically since then. Sending positive energy and prayers to you. Hang in there. Please keep us updated.

I am going through chemo treatments now, after being diagnosed about two months ago. Shortly after the diagnosis, I got very ill and spent 17 days in the hospital, four of them in a coma.
Before I got sick, the words "Stay positive " seemed like something people said just to say it. It was ridiculous to think someone could go through this and be positive!?
I was wrong. My life has completely changed in the blink of an eye. And so has my attitude. If I laid around moaning and feeling sorry for myself, I would feel like crap. But I see people so much worse than me, little children going through this, what do I have to whine about?
TLDR; I know you're scared, and with good reason. But I also know that dragging yourself down will only make you feel worse. Take each prayer and positive thought that people offer and appreciate them. It really does make a difference.

Anyone have any experience with such. TIA
yes, and recently, do they have any other additional info other than it's a tumor?

Prayers coming your way. Not all tumors are tragic news. Hopefully yours can be treated and the doctor gives you hope for recovery.

I’m sorry, man. I hope the neurosurgeon can help.
