Someone needs to remind this pastor about 1 Timothy 3:3..especially the parts about not greedy for money and not covetous. Embarrassing and damaging to the Christian church

one of these preachers from the Houston area I think, and I think it was discussed on here, a year or so ago I guess, was starting a money drive from his congregation to upgrade his jet, said he needed it because first of all, it wasn't swanky enough, and secondly, of course, God told him he needed to further spread the word of God, I'm sure he got the upgrade

No use, Protestants and non-denoms just ignore Timothy anyway. He destroys their entire "Faith alone" doctrine.
ETA: Got Timothy confused with James for a minute, even though Paul's letter to Timothy does talk about works, it's James that talks about faith without works.
