Not reading through the entire thread, but the guy who started off each class with "It's a GREAT day for Anthropology! Thank you for joining me."

Dude! You totally got the finals bonus question wrong. "It's a WONDERFUL day for Anthropology, so shall we begin!"

Robert Tague

Prof Tague was a hard class at LSU for a lot of people, but he is by far the best I have had at any level. His lecture on why you are special/unique/one in an universe is the best lecture I have ever had the luxury of sitting through

A Marketing Research Prof in the late 80's. Rick Niedermeyer perhaps?

I could add a few more, but these were above the rest.

Laura Wiley is amazing. Easily one of the best business professors in the college.

Sauley and Karam are great, of course.

Banks for management was great.

Dr. Socolofsky in Micro, the Greek Mythology guy from the late '80s

Obviously, subject matter can influence your opinion.

Somebody from Micro or Zoology can correct me, but I think it was Harmon who always referred to ORP, Ontogeny Recapitulates Phylogeny. He was engaging.

Are you talking about his bathroom skills at BREC park or classroom teaching skills?

Sauley was the best teacher ever. I still quote that dude 22 yrs later.

LSU '86, so....

Kevin Mulcahy, Wayne Parent, Cecil Crabb (Poli Sci)
Mark Carleton (LA History)
Robert Chumbley (French)

and my personal favorite, Mark Gasiorowski (Poli Sci). Really enjoyed his classes and always got an A. He was only about 10 years older than us and would have beers and shoot pool with us at the Bayou. He moved on to Tulane some time afterwards.

Had him for Screenwriting. He was excellent.

Also thought James Gordon was good.

Malcolm Richardson and Emily Batinski were great teachers. I actually thought the bulk of the professors I had were pretty good.
