I saw Pistols first game against Southeastern, he played on the LSU freshman team. He scored a bunch. Hard to remember, over 50 years ago, but I think it was 65. Remember, no 3 pt. shot back then. He averaged 44 ppg in 3 years at LSU. He was a magician with the ball and could score from anywhere on the court. I saw Pete, Chris Jackson and Shaq play, LSU should be proud of all three, they were great.

Without any doubt Pistol Pete Maravich. If he would have had a 3pt line he would have averaged 50pts a game. No one could handle the ball like Pete.
