It’s not a march. It’s an event that began after the DTL abductions/killings to promote safety.
Students volunteer to walk campus to identify potentially dangerous locations that are either unsecured or not lit after dusk. They send the report to facility services and LSUPD to either repair broken lights, or add lighting, or add security to a potentially dangerous area.
It’s just a safety audit.

I would love for the students to rise up but the administration has achieved their goal over the last few years: They’ve cut the nuts off the students, purged the Greek system, and taken the life and passion away from campus.
It must SUCK to be a student at LSU now.

I graduated from LSU in 1985. I was held up on campus as I was walking at night alongside of Power Dorm sometime in the early 80s. They should have been worried about lighting 35 years ago.

Probably every college student ever. So I’m assuming you never attended an educational institution that doesn’t include the word community in it?
