GP on Johnston used to be one of my favorite burgers in Lafayette, I'll give them another chance but they need to get it together. Also, on a side note...how is it able to be called Ground Pati and have the same sign as the chain ones but it doesn't seem to be associated or under the chain. I've seen them call out the one on the other side of town on the sign outside. I think it's owned outright by a local and isn't affiliated with the chain. I'm not sure how though?

This has been a while, but I was told in the past that the Kaliste Saloom location was corporately owned and the Johnston St. one was owned by someone local. The Johnston st. owners mom told us that Johnston st was sourcing their own ingredients vs the corporate sources. Johnston St had a much more limited menu but IMO the food was better back then. This was around the time that the Kaliste Saloom location first opened so ownership may have changed since then


My wife has actually waitred food from there a couple of times lately and it was still pretty good IMO. It would be hard to mess up but i had the Ribeye sandwich
