The bars downtown arent that good. All the best bars in the city are elsewhere

What are your favorites?

I enjoy the Overpass area and the occasional Bulldog/Uncle Earls

You just named a few.

Duvics-nails your hole in the wall. Martini night
Ivars-older Fred's on the weekends, covers the central and Zachary crowd, daytime drinking if so. Wing night
Merchant-burger and beer
Bumsteers-rooftop patio drinking and burger
Digiulios-wine and Italian

Earls-newly renovated and nice
Bulldog-staple in the bar scene. Patio beers

Olive or Twist- great mixed drinks, small but great tap list, good food late and early and happy hour
New Cove on Essen- great mixed drinks and the food looks very good

Hayride Scandal-arguably best drinks in town. Good happy hour

Radio bar-idont go but it's very popular

Superior Highland-3.5 jour happy hour 7 days a week. Included because it's right by my house

So I drive past all of these places to go drink downtown or at least drive a farther distance. I have no reason to go downtown along with all the other residents in 70808 and nearby areas
