Despite the final score not being close, I’d say Plumlee’s 200+ yard 4 TD day had as much or more to do with the perception than those two instances.

That would be considered an aberration if not for the multiple other times the defense has been unable to close out a game.

There's no denying that we have shite the bed defensively to some extent in almost every game, regardless of quality of opponent.

For whatever reason, this defense can't keep it together for 60 minutes.

I worry that it's a reflection of Coach O's style. Since he has us at 11-0, I'll take the good with the bad.
