20 some odd years ago, I returned a favor to a buddy by helping out his son (Boy Scout) set up and sell their popcorn and such to pay for some jamboree or trip or whatever inside of a grocery store on Sunday.
Old head walked in, the kid said “excuse me sir, would you like to purch...” and the old guy cut him off with his hand up and the air without even looking over saying “I don’t do business on Sundays”. Very crass and the comment was strange considering he was in a grocery store, but hey maybe he was just with someone and not buying groceries himself.
20 or so minutes later and this old top has a cart loaded to the brim with groceries and when he starts to put it on the conveyor and I holler out “they can’t sell you that since it’s Sunday”. He didn’t like that. And of course he was parked up on the curb about 10 feet from the door.

What point? If they drink beer and you offer them a beer, how are you forcing your opinion on them? They fricking drink. They’re hypocritical as frick over it.
Not to mention, THEY try to force THEIR beliefs on everyone else with their antiquated liquor laws and other such bullshite they vote in lockstep for.

My point that both sides are guilty of trying to force their beliefs on the other side. Hypocrites on both sides.
So it's best to 'you do you' the best that you can, and let others do them. Trying to make others uncomfortable because of their beliefs makes you look bad fwiw

Serious as hell. They rebranded a couple years ago. Many of the old locations were ditched to rebuild in the same area. It's not great by any measure but it's NOT as bad as you remember.

As a kid I'd watch a lot of them order a free water in a resturant with lemon, and then use packet sugars to make makeshift lemonade lol
And leave all those paper sugar packets on the tables. Always seemed trashy to me.

Don’t go to any bbq joint that doesn’t have a cashier. If your bbq joint has servers you’re paying steakhouse prices for fast food quality food.

Southern Baptist here. Don’t drink beer. Tip 20% unless your service is really terrible. I know the Sunday lunch crowd routine but to say it is only Southern Baptists and that all Southern Baptists are like that is incorrect.
