I’m very sorry for your loss. I lost a child and I have experienced that indescribable pain. And I agree- kind words of sympathy even from strangers can be very meaningful and helpful. Too many people think they need to know the perfect things to say and as a result often don’t say anything. That felt to us almost like they didn’t care. Peace and prayers to you and you family during this unbearable time.

So sorry to hear, RIP! These stories puts life in perspective. Twenty-two years old losing his left to a car accident. Tell those people that you care about what they mean to you every chance you get! Thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you so much! I hope to never pass up a chance to speak encouragement to someone in need. It’s a tough way to learn a lesson but I think this one is forever learned.
God bless you and the memory of you child

Prayers sent up for you and Blake. May God give you comfort in your time of loss. Life is short, our time is way too short. Sometimes God has other plans for our loved ones. I don’t know why sometimes. God knows what you are going through, because he knows all. God knows suffering, as Jesus suffered for us. In Him you can find peace and comfort.

I’m so sorry for your loss, just read this earlier. Just went to Ash Wednesday mass, said a prayer for you and your family and held my 10yr old a little tighter tonight. RIP Blake

Your strength and faith inspirational, I don't think I could be so strong.

I pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort you. He does have a plan and this life is not all there is.

I don't know you but here I am teary-eyed reading your post.

I trust that Blake is in a better place. And I pray that the pain you feel gets better over time.

Man, how important those memories are. It is truly wonderful that your last season with him was so amazing and special.

God bless you and your family.

Sorry for your loss, man. I wish there was more I could say but I've lost 2 sisters in the last 34 years and I know words of comfort can be like a salve for the soul.

I shudder to imagine the loss of a child. But with all the losses I have had, though it never completely leaves, time eases the pain and brightens the memories. God bless you and your family and RIP Blake.

Hey Kevin! So neat to see you on here and thanks so much for the kind words. Your church family was such a blessing and went way beyond even the highest expectations for us! Thanks again. See you around here or elsewhere bro
