Attended two separate Zoom online cocktail parties today. The first from 2-7 the second from 7:30 to 11. Killed 4 bottles of wine and a bottle of Bourbon sitting in front of our computer. Can't sleep cause all the sugar kicked in. Drinking more, eating more, have put on 9 pounds in the 3 weeks we've been on lockdown in the Bay Area.

Long time listener - not first time poster - might not be 'kosher' but I'm drinking every day come 12:15pm at the latest. Have had to make multiple trips to the Mexican general store down the road to restock the supply.
The wife (no pics) has chastised me multiple times about leaving the house too much for beer and getting 'fat'.
Jokes on her though.

I was almost drunk enough to post pics. Then I remembered this is the OT and some cyber detective would do a reverse image search, find her online profiles and destroy my life.

I've actually gone the other direction.I've been a long time drinker,looooong time,and during this time I was getting waaaay too good at it.
I decided to give it a rest last Sunday and after a week I feel much better,don't ache as much and get more done.
I'm not preaching because I know you guys aren't where I am,and I would be partying like hell if I was young,but it was time for this old dude to hang up the drinking spurs.
But for you guys,party on,I don't blame you.

I haven't drank in anger in nearly a month. Last night we got food and a margarita to go. Good rita, which made me think Old Fashioneds would be a good idea. Made myself 2 and was hammered, but throttled back to mitigate my hangover this AM.

I’ve been using this time to get into a little better shape. Accepted a desk job and I’ve probably gained about 15 lbs in the past year and a half. I’ve lost 10 since the 17th . I’m 5’8” and 170. I think I’m still considered borderline obese by medical standards. Smh

i had stopped drinking for all of January and February. Most of March.
But I caved hard this last week.
still working driving @ FedEx so no quarantine for real.
but I don't go any where once i get off.
the liquor store and Publix is all.
freezer is a decent amount Vodka in it.
not doing well.
