I have lived in Kingwood for 15 years and all three of my kids have gone through the public schools. They are highly rated ( some more highly rated than others) I believe you would be very happy with the school system. I have a senior and a sophomore in high school and one in middle school now. I am sure you could look up the report from the state on the latest ratings for them all.

Elementary: probably 8-10 schools. Willow creek is probably the highest rated. Mine went to Deerwood, Bear branch, shadow forest, green tree, hidden hollow are all similar and know kids that have gone there. I don’t know much about Foster, Woodland Hills or elm grove

Middle school- three schools- Riverwood is probably the highest rated, but creekwood is considered to be very good as well. Kingwood middle is the other and is also considered to be a good school.

High school, two high schools Kingwood and Kingwood Park. Both highly rated. Kingwood is 6a and k park 5a. Mine go to Kingwood

Kingwood did flood during Harvey fairly significantly. However a majority of homes did not . Kingwood high school was out of operation for 9 months
