I don't know if I would go that far, but the internal memo that I'm linking here has the DA describing the video itself in a pretty weird fashion, as in I wouldn't describe the events in the video like he did.
Starting with this absurdity -
quote:
Given the fact Arbery initiated the fight, at the point Arbery grabbed the shotgun, under Georgia Law, McMichael was allowed to use deadly force to protect himself.
I mean, what the frick. How are you going to say a guy standing in the road with a shotgun waiting on you is the victim?

Thats up to a jury....what was clear was there was absolutely no reason, with the video in hand, to not arrest them.
You're a smart kid, albeit bad about your teeth....if the races were reversed, how would you have felt about it?

My neighbor's wife turned up dead on the day she was leaving his arse for another man because my neighbor is an abusive, manipulative, psycho. Ruled suicide. County and city police fricked everything up. GBI came in but it was so long after the fact that any and all evidence was loonnggg gone. Ole boy is friends with the sheriff. His mom, who was on the scene after the "suicide" but before 911 was called (dude can be heard on tape saying, "Diddy, I killed her"), works for the county courts. These bullshite good ole boy network cover-ups are not particularly uncommon here in GA, as I'm sure is the case in many rural/exurban areas.
** actually, case is still open so it was never actually ruled suicide but that's the story the neighbor gave and, to this day, it's apparently sticking

Yeah the shitheads murdered the guy and they should in my opinion be hanged at half time of the super bowl and it would make me smile. In saying that let’s not act like we would know this story if the victim was white because we wouldn’t.

Let’s say it’s Saturday on a game day. You are rolling around campus on a 90 degree day. You finish your last beer and are thirsty. You pass a tailgate and grab a beer out of the ice chest.
Do 3 slap dickS have the right to stop you with guns drawn to make a citizens arrest ? Lest say you didn’t actually take the beer , but opened the ice chest , looked and thought better. Do three slap ducks have the right to make a citizens arrest ?
I am the biggest LEO person on this board. Look at my Sterling posts if you want. Multiple citizens can’t just roll up on a guy guns drawn bc they saw him look through a window or think he stole something.

I don’t believe this guy should have been killed. And the McMichaels certainly appear guilty of murder.
But does anyone actually believe this guy was simply out jogging for exercise? No. He was probably stealing shite from houses and these red necks caught him in the act and he takes off running.

What's interesting is I never saw it reported that the murderers saw him stop, just that there was a 911 call by another uninvolved citizen. So how the frick did these ole baws hear about the construction site? Were they already following him? Did they hear the scanner? Did someone at the PD tip them off?

Because he's a black dude with a history, you jump to that assumption?
Neighbors reported he regularly jogged through the neighborhood. He had no stolen property on his cold, dead person.

Good. Those overzealous douche bags need to be locked up.

If he was white with a history of burglary I would draw the same assumption. Because that the reality of the world is that criminals tend to do the same criminal shite over and over again.
Like I said. He should not have been killed and they deserve what they have coming to them completely.

Exactly. Who the frick is out robbing while jogging in jogging clothes ? At worst he is casing the place , but clearly not robbing while running around in jogging shorts , t shirt and tennis shoes.
Again, the issue is citizens stopping this guy with guns drawn. If anyone thinks this is ok, you have issues. This is straight vigilante BS. There is a reason this country doesn’t tolerate that sort of thing. The armed posse ended in 1890 bc they summarily executed people regardless of guilt. They literally caught someone and hung them. Didn’t care who they caught.

Did you know this story prior to the video being leaked this week?

This part had me confused as frick.
quote:
Just as importantly, while we know McMichael had his finger on the trigger, we do not know who caused the firings. Arbery would only had to pull the shotgun approximately 1/ 16th to 1/ 8th of one inch to fire weapon himself and in the height of an altercation this is entirely possible. Arbery's mental health records & prior convictions help explain his apparent aggressive nature and his possible thought pattern to attack an armed man.
Just an amazing paragraph.

State offense
Not RICO. Requires two separate and independent acts.

This whole thing is a reactionary joke.
Guy was a felon who had a gun charge. A 911 call was put in by another neighbor. The guy who ran him down was a retired 30 year investigator.
They are bending to public pressure, no conviction. They'll be released once people forget.

Arbery had mental health issues, and he had prior convictions...Court records show that Arbery was convicted of shoplifting and of violating probation.... he was indicted on charges that he took a handgun to a high school basketball game.

Another source of information on the killing is several 911 calls placed while Arbery was in Satilla Shores, reporting his presence in the predominantly white neighborhood. One caller told dispatchers that there was someone looking around a property under construction; the Daily Beast reported that the owner showed surveillance footage to Arbery’s aunt, who identified her nephew, but that he was simply interested in the bones of the house.

Around here it’s guilty until proven innocent
People around here know all the facts after watching a minute video

But the LA PD can pistol whip a black guy and it doesn’t make the news I guess because he didn’t die yet.
Posted on 5/7/20 at 9:04 pm to Kujo
Someone already did this.
7 years ago. Seems to have cleaned up his act. Was working toward becoming an electrician.
Avid jogger, witnesses place him as a regular jogger in the area who would wave and engage with people.
ETA: None of that is relevant to this particular incident, and none of this was known by the perpetrators.
I cant attack someone and then use things from their past as my defense.

Just curious, but watching the video, it appears he is wearing cargo shorts and boots.
Am I not seeing it correctly?
Not saying the two peeps shouldn’t be charged, but it didn’t look like jogging gear to me.
