re: San Francisco police will no longer respond to non-criminal calls

I might be wrong but I feel like the psycho street dweller stabbing someone could be a reason an officer of the law responded to these types of calls on the first place.
While I’m at it, why is this even a problem? Maybe I live in a bubble (full disclosure - I do live in my bubble) but I’ve never heard anyone complain about a cop telling a bum to move along, or break up a domestic dispute, etc. Seems like people want “reform” for the sake of it

You are wrong. For street dwellers, the street is their domicile. Stabbing someone in your domicile is a domestic dispute. A social services case worker should be phoned.
When every second counts, the social services case workers are just a bike ride away.
