In no way, shape or form did Coach O come up with that. It has been used forever and O stole it from someone else.

Saban is a D bag anyway.

No, O didn't come up with that. But he has made it THE central theme of LSU football.

Ordinarily I'm not a big fan of cheesy, generic platitudes such as "one team. one heartbeat." But I do think it's pretty awesome to see all the video screens in Tiger Stadium moments before kickoff depicting an EKG machine thumping to the stadium music with with the phrase "ONE TEAM. ONE HEARTBEAT" centrally presented.

LSU and Orgeron just finished ripping through the college football world last year and gaining maybe more praise for a team than any team in CFB history (LSU and their players/coaches won damn near every big team and individual award possible). It was always going to be hard to generate enough emotion to follow up such a dominant season. That's just human nature. But coaches and players are always looking for "slights" to create motivation. No doubt LSU will use this as motivation...even though it, at its core, is really just a generic statement.
