Good times. The 2010’s have been pretty lame for local bands by comparison as there’s just not a lot of support for them other than crappy cover bands like Parish County Line and Neutral Snap.

There’s a lot of talent around here Right now, though:
Captain Green
Wonder Kid
Swamp Stank
RiaRosa
Ship of Fools
Magic Crawfish
Ventruss
Catbamboo
BaBy in the 90’s
Bayou Bullets
The Hitchhiker
Loudness War
Carter Patrick & the Telegraph Salesman
Minos the Saint
The Humble Kind
Dalton Wayne & the Warmadillos

This is an understatement. Nobody in BR gives a shite about live music anymore. Hell, they don’t even go out to see cover bands anymore. Denham Springs has a more active live music scene than Baton Rouge.

I know guys in Baby in the 90’s and Humble Kind. Good bands.

These guys are so cringe. No clue how they’re so popular around the area.
