You seem to be very close to the situation. Are you the developer?
Just because a vendor leaves doesn't mean they don't have others lined up to come in, especially if they were successful vendors who were able to grow into their own standalone concepts. However if I'm one of those new vendors planning to come in, and COVID happens, I bet that is a contract I am wanting to get out of.
