There was an interesting theory brought up on the Joe Rogan podcast once. Some people believe that aliens aren't really 'aliens' from outer space. Instead they're supposed to be heavily evolved homosapien time travelers. Why they come back is anyone's guess.
If you were to compare the changes between monkey-to-human vs. human-to-stereotypical 'alien', this theory gets interesting. As we've evolved from 'monkeys', our body has lost muscle mass, we have less hair, and we've lost body parts we no longer have any use for because we've adapted to use our brains. A stereotypical 'alien' seems to follow this pattern; smaller bodies, no hair, and larger heads.
It's an interesting theory. I'm not sure I buy it, but interesting nonetheless.

time travelers
That makes sense because I assume time travel is necessary to travel through space. It's all Greek to me. I get bogged down on square one, the concept of vastness of space.

No offense but why haven’t monkeys evolved?
I am open minded about “aliens” being part of our past and future as explained by TPA, but no one ever explains, that I’ve seen, why the other primates apparently quit evolving.
