Of course some percentage of people would find my beliefs ridiculous, that's always going to be the case with virtually anyone's beliefs, but I doubt you'd find a single person that wasn't operating under some kind of supernatural assumption that would find them ridiculous.

That's the point. As soon as you start invoking supernatural mumbo jumbo, anything can mean anything to anyone.
