Yeah, it's Newsweek, but I never saw the eyewitness claim. The sketchiest part of the whole thing to me is the claim that we didn't have eyes on. That would be unusual for this bird in this situation.

I am out of the loop on the source of the stingers. We were selling them to terrorists to assist in destabilizing governments in the ME? Is that the general consensus?

He says that he negotiated himself with Iran for the transfer of Bin Laden to a neutral territory to be turned over. He gives the dates, places and people that He negotiated with. He said that he had met with Bill Richardson and that he had agreed to serve as the US envoy in the transfer. Says that Panetta nixed the program Rigor and the CIA threatened him not to follow through.

There are multiple theories but yes. The most credible one I’ve read is the stingers were sold off book (without congressional oversight) to Ansar Al Sharia

I'm not bothered by his looks. I think people would be surprised what some of these spooks look like. Especially ones that work over in the ME.
I just want to see him deliver the goods. I don't doubt his story. It lines up pretty well with how I've already figured it. Could be confirmation bias, obviously. So let's just see the goods, please.
