I really thought he was too ornery and too cool to die. I did not think death had the guts or the skill to attempt this.

There were a lot of stories back in his Bond days that he was always pissing off his directors by being late for a shot. Seems he was always hauling arse back to his trailer & fricking one Bond girl or another after a shoot & not ...finishing...in time for the next shoot. At times, 2 at a time.

One of my favorite movies, and one of Connery's most underrated roles (IMO), is Finding Forrester. It was just a good story all around.
