haha i gave up on randomly refreshing it, just wait for a notification or a tweet or someone posting in here that the queue is up. I got in several times before notifications went out and still had over an hour once they went in stock.
just gonna get 4 different spots in the queue next time (one regular window, one incognito, on phone and computer) and hope to get a early spot.

Just an fyi for anyone in the area, Brickseek is saying that Jennings Walmart has 6+ PS5s in stock. This is fairly new as I refreshed about 1.5 hours ago and it didn’t say that.

Had a store manager tell me that at times the DCs overload the trucks and the PS5s have to be put on the next truck. All the while still getting invoiced for them regardless if they get them or not.

Yea the told me today that didn’t come in last night but were supposed to. I call some BS. They will sell most of them to buddies late tonight before having like 3 left in the morning that will go immediately when store opens. I’ll probably buy one for 900 honestly I’m tired of fighting with Walmart.

Don't give up on PS Direct. I thought I had no chance of getting one until I got in the queue on Friday and I was able to get one.

Saw that and called them. The electronics people have no clue. Same thing happened to me in laffy last night and there was a line at 5pm.
Thinking about making a trip to jennings and forming a line as they did say there was no line yet. Worst case scenario, i come home with a darryl's special.

Do we have a list of best practices for PS Direct? Are there times that they seem to enable the queue? do they do them daily/weekly? how do you get into the queue, go to the shop page, or do you have to be within the PS5 console or digital page?
If we can get answers to that and put them on the OP that would be awesome.

There is no definite time, usually its on the hour mark but it has been at different times as well.
The time you get in line doesn't seem to matter as long as you are in queue before they actually show in stick. Basically, once they are going in stock, they randomize everyone's spot.
You just need to go to the ps direct page and if theres a queue it should put you in it.
Open a queue on a regular tab and a incognito tab on your pc and your phone. This should give you four chances to get an earlier spot in the queue when they randomize spots.

I’ve been to Opelousas, Eunice earlier and just left Jennings. none at all stores. The electronics people said the best time is at 7:30 in the morning

That's what electronics told me in lafayette at 3pm yesterday. went in at 5 to try my luck on my way home and there was 30+ people in line and they sold the 10 they had.
GB get together at walmart electronics? maybe td can be the first 10 ppl in line.

I’m a vendor for Walmart and I’m there all day during the week. Just went to the Walmart and Zachary this morning and just missed the Ps5 I was able to get the Xbox X. I’m giving up on the Ps5 for now lol
