Yes. It benefits LSU to have all there opponents win all other games except against LSU. Helps with strength of schedule. Oklahoma fans were making fun of the SEC last night after manhandling a subpar Florida team like the SEC is not good anymore. Complete bullshite.

I always cheer for the SEC over other conferences. The better they do, the better it is for LSU, be because the best recruits want to play for the best conference. Also, I think of them as our rivals during the season, but our family during the bowl season.

I hope that every SEC team goes undefeated except against LSU.
A winning season for LSU is more impressive to the committee when they have quality wins. Why was 2019 so historic?
They crushed quality teams, week in and week out, leaving no doubt.
I want a perfect season against a schedule of one loss teams.
So Geaux SEC (unless you’re playing LSU).

of course I root for SEC teams. Yes, yes, yes, I know this board will flame me and say any SEC team that wins only hurts our recruiting. But I don’t buy that.
I think it’s more important and impressive that the SEC is regarded as the top conference. We get more prestige, more interest from recruits, more TV dollars, better bowl slots which means more exposure and money, more respect from the playoff committee, etc.

I usually do not but if OU is involved then yes. Because those mfs make EVERYTHING about SEC this SEC that. Never about the individual teams involved in the game. They beat an sec team, they own us.

SEC pride mattered when we were the red-headed step-child of college football. But then the SEC started winning every BCS game they (we) were invited to, and the truth couldn't be denied anymore. Now, there is too much PRO-SEC bias, and 2011 was an absurdity beyond recognition. I cheer for lower-tier SEC teams in big match-ups against prominent P5 teams, but otherwise I'm rooting against the top teams not named LSU.
