Let's talk Cigars

Ok fellas, let's talk all things cigars!
(This poast was edited from its original, the OP is below in its entirety)
Do Cigar threads belong on the FDB?
This question really has to do with board philosophy, and not an actual discussion about cigars.
Do cigar discussions belong here on the FDB or on some other form? There are semi-regular cigar threads on the OT lounge, but nothing really to go back and reference.
The Whisky/bourbon/Scotch thread is informative, and it's a good resource to go back through and see what everyone is drinking.
Personally, I think an official cigar thread would work well here.

As someone who enjoys talking about food, I have no interest in cigar talk. None. I understand how alcohol can go with food, but not cigars. That being said, I could care less if there is a thread on this board, I simply won’t read it.

I think it makes more sense here than OT Lounge. It's possible to go an entire page on here without a Tree Fiddy or Truck Nuts reference. OT Lounge, that is not possible

Nothing pairs with a good cigar better than that.

Padron 64 maduro. A sublime experience.

Where do you guys smoke your cigars, when at home? Patio, outdoor kitchen, sunroom, smoking room, wine and whiskey room?

Hell yeah. I'm always up for cigar discussions and I think this is a natural place for them since drink/cigar pairings are a big part of it.
Since the pandemic, I've been working remotely a lot more, which means I've been smoking a lot more during the day. I've been going a lot more to local boutique rollers versus the big labels because they burn cleaner and leave me with much less of an aftertaste/cigar breath. Even got one who rolls custom blends for people. They're more expensive than the typical namebrand stuff ($15-$40 per stick) but it's been worth it.
For morning sticks, I've really been into candelas lately. I know they are frowned upon by lots of aficionados but I love em with my morning coffee and they are really light. For my after dinner stick, I've got this one with a Mexican San Andreas wrapper and a Cuban + Nicaraguan filler. The wrapper is really dark and strong with this big sexy earthy flavor that's got some spice and cocoa notes. And it really takes the edge off.
As for the label stuff- I'm a total Drew Estates fan. The undercrown series is great for value and the Liga L-40, T-52, 9, and UF-13 are all top notch.
For Christmas I got a box of Cohiba Talisman 2017 limited editions. I've smoked 1 and given away 4. Absolutely legendary stick. Top 5 I have ever smoked in my life:

Love cigars...
I find myself looking for "Seconds" from the good guys.
I got some Alec Bradley 2nds that are GREAT (cigarsinternational) - less than $3/stick.
I can't pay what some of you do for smokes... I CAN, but I can't physically do it...
Cheers!

I always enjoy seeing other people’s collections. Does anyone else happen to use cigar scanner?
Here is my stash

Bumping this thread to keep cigar talk on the first page!

I'm no cigar guru but I am trying to dabble more and more. In my short time, while cheaper, a good Acid Blondie is hard to beat for a sweet smoke. I've also had a Rocky Patel 1875 which was good as well. Also a fan of Romeo & Juliete. Maybe because I'm a newbie, but I haven't experienced a bad smoke yet. A cigar and a glass of Four Roses or Buffalo Trace is hard to beat.

Jumping into thread. Just got back from Tampa, with some buddies. Had a great time. Spent some time in Ybor city and I recommend it to any cigar guy. Picked up some JC Newman sticks including The American. Great cigar. I have been staying in undercown Maduro and fat bottom Betty (both drew estate) recently but that Le bijou 1922 might be my fav
