26/16 is probably right unless he’s bigger kid. Make sure he has a 2 3/4 barrel so he had the best chance of making contact. That’s all ya looking for at the younger ages anyway.

Correction on the new bat, it’s 26/15. But still slightly heavier. And no he doesn’t lift. He is pretty slim so if anything he can be a slap hitter like ichiro
