He actually didn’t

That was a monkey skull. The hyenas likely ate Mufasa. Lion cannibalism is far rarer than hyenas eating dead lions and Scar couldn’t have eaten the body in one sitting by himself anyway.

In all media? If we are including video games, Amon from Starcraft has to be up there. -He artificially evolved the Protoss by basically installing an organic Trojan in their minds after triggering a civil war. -He took a primal zerg, tortured him until his mind was completely broken into a hive mind carrier, and set him loose on the other Xel'Naga, then programmed a directive to assimilate everything to distract the Protoss. -He used his proxy Duran to undermine both the UED and Mengsk at the same time, focusing them both on Kerrigan while creating a plan to hybridize Zerg and Protoss. -He convinced the Tal'Darim to worship him as a god and design their entire society around him. -His proxy Duran convinced both Arcturus Mengsk and his son that Kerrigan was the greatest threat while hedging his bets that if Kerrigan was "saved" that her residual energy could revive Amon. -His proxy Duran convinced Arcturus Mengsk that the protoss/zerg hybrids were under his control, playing on his ego. -He used the aforementioned Trojan to hijack the Khala and control all Protoss that didn't sever their nerve cords, making them slaves in their own bodies. -Oh, and did I mention that he killed all the other Xel'Naga but one, who he imprisoned for eons?

Scar is up there, but Voldermort takes the top spot IMO.

Dude was pure evil.

Voldemort wasn’t even the best and most evil villain in his own series.

Hell, I’d say Bellatrix was also worse than Voldemort.

No. He could have very easily killed Simba but instead decided on a play of sympathy. Then he gave him a head start before sending 3 moronic hyenas to do the one deed which could have secured his throne forever. Scar is the Atlanta Falcons of villains.

I think that was actually somewhat intelligent what Scar did even if it backfired. If they had found Simba’s corpse and Scar had killed him, they’d know simply from the injuries it was him. At worst if they found Simba’s corpse when it came to the hyenas, he could throw them under the bus.

Kill him then have the hyenas, who were right there, eat him.

frick that noise. Scar may have seized power by murdering his brother but people really need to stop blaming him for a drought. He can't control the rains

As you'll recall from Hamlet, fratricide is an affront to God and Nature, and can be the cause of all sorts of otherworldly events to happen.

Also, more directly, Scar allowed the hyenas to overhunt the zebras, antelope, etc scaring away the herds and their excrement which would have fertilized the grasslands. Like Mr Hankey sang:

quote:

It's the poo of the antelope, the poo of the giraffe
Which crawls into the earth, and becomes the blades of grass

I feel like Mr. Waternoose and Randall are pretty under-discussed here. I mean their plan was to kidnap and kill kids and dispose of the bodies.

The real crime was Monstropolis' tax code not incentivizing R&D. Monsters Inc should have had multiple divisions working 24/7 on ways to monetize a solution for the energy shortage.

Monsters Inc is one of the very few Pixar movies that I didn't initially enjoy but have grown to love. I just watched it with my little girl this morning, actually.

How was the drought Scar’s fault in any way, shape, or form?

She’s awful but I do find her motives for immortality understandable though.

The Roadrunner is the all time greatest villain.

Next would be Daniel in the Karate Kid.

Jerry from Tom & Jerry

Scooby Doo was an a-hole but everyone knows Scrappy was really pulling the strings the whole time.

He may have been evil, but he'll never be as cool as Sere Kahn.

Shere Khan also had a point that was hard to argue with.

You mean Claudius?

Meh, he's evil, but there are far greater villains. He's barely borderline top tier in disney films. Frollo, Khan, cruella, Auto, Huggins, etc. all better.

ETA: Also Syndrome, who was willing to kill thousands of people just to be a hero.
