Yes you have been living under a rock. Hardee's has been that expensive for 10-15 years. They rebranded as a premium fast food joint. They just let the premium expire and kept the prices.

Hardee’s has always been way overpriced especially for terrible food. That’s why the ones in Denham and Port Allen shut down. Nobody is paying for that and has nothing to do with politics. This is their normal price. The inflation that’s coming will push it up higher, but has little to do with this terrible run business model currently.

Linking this discussion to politics is stupid, if you want to prove you aren't stupid at a minimum show the actual price increase for this meal over the last 7 months and verify the current pricing.
Anyone talking about hyperinflation in this thread is brain-damaged also. I bet everyone that has used that term also utters or types "fake news" at least once a day. You need to use your lipstick and write FAKE NEWS on your mirror with an up arrow so you are reminded you spout incorrect bullshite.
Hyperinflation is an economic term of art, it actually has a specific meaning associated with uncontrolled price increases of around 50% month after month. When you use that to describe the current US economic situation it just illuminates your complete lack of economic education and understanding.
At least if you are going to link everything to politics try to be remotely accurate.

My son got the ‘teriyaki tips’ app from a restaurant yesterday and it was $25. It was on the special board...but $25 seems like a lot for steak tip app.

This is why I stopped eating fat food. Not the fat. The fact that I can get good food cheaper.
Take taco bell. $8 for a combo meal drink and tax. I can go to most track places and get tacos and a drink for that price. With real meats.
