Nice.

How much is that in millibars?

Good luck out there. I hope it turns out to be less than expected.

Traffic for late deciders, NOLA to 90 up to Laffy was mostly smooth sailing, 20 mins past LC at the moment and no hiccups in sight.

What's the consensus for people in StJames Parish? Been boarding up windows for family so haven't been able to keep up with threat. Tia

I'm bringing my 4 year old to Pville instead of keeping her in NOLA. I think there are probably better plans than that

Wait, you are going closer to the storm?

Not sure how some of them are leaving after the couple of pileups we saw coming back from down there. How many wreckers are there in Lafourche Parish?

I'm not, the kid is going with family.

I'm not excited about it. Unfortunately we are both "essential" so these types of events we don't have much option. Especially if people think somewhere in BR will be safer than somewhere in NOLA.

While trying to sleep in that shite and losing your frozen food. Yep I’m out if it’s headed my way.

Thanks. The flood this past spring was a foot below 2016.

Highest I’ve seen…1.5 ft from getting in my house.

But I’ve experienced sustained winds over 100mph for 10 straight hours.

And frick that. And all that follows it.

I am already drunk and full of summer gumbo. Can someone tell me where this bitch is headed? I am now hearing it's moved west?

I am already loosing 50+ yes of history, I don't feel like moving my drinking spot.

Man, y’all get out of there. You’ll make it, but going without power in 95 degree heat in August will suck.

Y’all just get out for a few nights

An array of fans, staying still, and drinking cold ones will help.

Down there 1.5' is a long way. Still unsettling; but not like 1.5' in Denham Springs.

Mr.Clifford Smith ( a very educated and knowledgeable civil engineer ) has told me that if the water overwhelms Terrebonne Parish from the South it will stop at the railroad embankment. This was many years ago. He knows the topography of the whole Mississippi drainage system.

I’m not worried about water, I’m worried about the 120+ mph winds and tornados
