Head down to Pier 6 in San Leon for really good seafood on the water. You’ll get a great view of the ship channel bridge across the bay from their expansive covered patio. After a few Liquid Sunshines you won’t be able to see the bridge anyway. On the drive down, stop by the Chopping Block in Webster and pick up some dry aged ribeyes and specialty boudin to cook at home.

That sounds amazing. Was already planning on taking the kids to that boardwalk and that's just a bit further down the road.

Due to convenience along with the steak fajita recommendation we tried Lupe Tortilla tonight. The food was good, I did have a bit of sticker-shock from the fajita prices but once the food came it wasn't so bad- you can basically craft 3 hearty fajita burritos out of what they give you and those giant tortillas. Flavor was good and I enjoy and appreciate the grilled jalapeno pepper.

Only problem was the wait for food- we ordered around 5 and didn't get our food until 5:30, which is the opposite of just about every tex mex experience I've ever had where the food comes out super fast. Better than eating canned tuna in the dark so cant complain much. Kids also enjoyed the free ice cream. Thanks for the recommendation.
