Dude I went to school with had a TR6. He was a tremendous douche but that car was the tits. Should’ve been a chick magnet but that dude never had so much as a date.

Same here, we have both a TR7 washer and a DR7 dryer. Both have been flawless and will clean the shite out of your clothes, literally.

Yes just get the Commercial model. Uses more waster but washes a load in about 20 minutes. Gets our dirty clothes from the farm clean. Will never go back to High Efficiencies

I didn't care how much water it uses. It cleans everything, is big enough, and doesn't take forever.

The only speed queen washer model worth a shite is the TC5 which has the "classic clean" wash which is the old style pre-2018 counter rotating agitator.

Just bought this one a week ago after some research and I can recommend it. I always bought older washers because they have the threaded agitator that spins independently and they seem to last 5-10 years. My wife insisted on a speed queen, so I dropped the $1100 thinking it was going to wash like shite as most new “efficient” washers do. It does a better job than any of the older washers ever have and is pretty quiet. The TR series doesn’t have an agitator that spins independently, so I would avoid it.

I bought at TR5 2018 model and it sucked. I could tell from the first load it didn’t clean clothes the way my old kenmore did. I asked to return it and dealer said no. I ask him to give me only a 50% credit and he said no.

After a year I bought a whirlpool from Home Depot that has been great. So much for the local guy doing you better. I offered to give the One year old SQ to the dealer to haul it off and he wouldn’t take it. SQ wouldn’t stand behind their bad design nor would their dealer.

My first college car was a 1978 Triumph Spitfire. I sold it and replaced it with a 1981 RX7. After I graduated I bought a 1969 TR6 as a second car. I loved them both, but ownership guaranteed you would develop mechanical skills. I still toy around with the thought of buying another TR6 or a TR8. The TR8 was the last model made. It looked exactly like the TR7, but had a small block V8 engine manufactured by Rover that was based on a Buick design they had acquired.

If anyone is looking for speed queens. Gorman bros in prairieville has some in stock. Tell them the guy from BR who paid by AMEX over the phone sent you. Ask for Lauren, she is nice and helpful.

Lol prob once a year. Just replaced them about 3 months ago. Is my washer a fire hazard or does the dryer over heat?

Thing has been a tank for me. I looked at it and it was not a 2016 is actually built in 02-2014. Was bought in 2016 and I got it at 2017. The thing has not let me down, washing blankets, work gear and shoes when needed. Its been good to me. I had to replace a thermostat in the dryer last year but I blame that on me brutalizing it.

Bunch of plants baws up in here getting so dirty you need to worry about getting a fancy machine to get all the dirt out. Us college folks dont get too dirty behind the big desk but I do sometimes need some of that spray n wash as my collar sometimes gets just a tad of sweat on it whilst I'm making the big decisions.

fwiw - I bought a cheapest Roper I could find and it works just fine!
