That’s not the one I’m talking about. Chester cell is obviously still on the ground. The debris ball has been swallowed up on the radar beam by the debris field raining down above it.

I knew when I walked outside this morning and it was 84 degrees, I said this ain’t good. Prayers to everyone in the boot heel area. I’d say I’m about 100+ miles from the action.

The Chester rotation looks a little weaker now, but it is getting a good distance away from the radar, so hard to tell if it is really weakening.

I know. I was just commenting on how it is showing on radar. I agree with you on the other.

The line of storms to the West is moving about 10 kts faster than the warned storms. We need to see it catch up and the whole thing line out.

Perryville area is probably getting some serious RFD.

Yep. The inflow on the Chester storm seems to be getting cut off by the big winds and broad rotation in Perryville.

I wouldn't be going to sleep tonight with that to the West even when the tornado warnings expire. That segment of the line is going to be hell.

WPSD is the local NBC affiliate out of Paducah. They’re so bad that everyone turns to KFVS out of Cape Girardeau for our weather.

NWS not extending the tornado warning on the Perryville storm. They’ll go with a severe thunderstorm warning instead.

You folks to the East are going to get some big winds. Of course, the chances of a spin-up will still be there, but the line out should decrease the chance for these type tornadoes. You could see legit winds later, though.

The bulk of that line is getting into a terrible spot for radar. Good thing it has started to calm down, tornado wise.

Any updates? Looks like the threat for Wednesday has shifted to cover most of Louisiana
