I’m failing to be outraged by her article. Are you saying it makes one “woke” to hope LSU hires a coach without “baggage” related to covering up sexual assault?

I follow LSU stuff pretty closely, but I don't live in Baton Rouge (actually 5 hour drive away) and I don't read every online article in The Advocate so I had no idea who Andrea Gallo was. Although I'm fully capable of finding the article you didn't originally link, I had no intention to spend my time doing so. If someone wants to convince me of their argument, they need to make an argument (i.e. provide the link). Now that you've provided the link, I was going to read the article and make my own decisions. I got through the introductory paragraph before the website blocked me from reading the rest of the article w/o subscribing. Oh well, guess I'll just watch this from a distance.

She comes from Austin, the most liberal state capitol in the South. Reading the Austin paper you'd think you were in N.Y.C. Expect a lot more of her type journalism.
