Little pre order? How does that work? It auto downloads on release?

Yep. Game is already in my library. Once it unlocks, it will download and install just like Steam would treat an update.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC cross-play and system requirements revealed

Reqs are in chart form on the page, not embedded as an image, so I can't bring them directly here. Just scroll down a bit.

Really looking forward to this one tomorrow, big reason I've been moving to PC from consoles lately

Downloaded and installed this tonight. Hopefully I’ll get some weekend time in.

For any returning players, any general advice?

One of the best games I’ve ever played. Just enjoy it and take it in. I played it right after beating Elden Ring (no similarities). The game shows you what you need to do. Leveling isn’t complicated and the combat style is awesome. It’s Sekiro-lite, but much more majestic and deep.

Do some exploring and take out enemy camps to open your map more. Use the right form for each type of enemy. Get good reflexes and learn to parry.

I forgot about that. I enjoyed that aspect of the game a lot.

Fairly standard parry system, or any tips?

I’m currently about 2/3 through a parry heavy double caestus Dark Souls 1 run, so if it’s at all similar, let’s just say I’m pretty sharp right now

You will sleepwalk through Ghost's comba.t. Incredibly easy

Should I up the difficulty setting, or are higher settings just kind of annoying and spongy?

I don’t go out of my way to make games painfully difficult (that’s what Dark Souls is for ), so I generally play games on their default on a first run through (like HFW now), but will bump games up on subsequent playthroughs, or just to avoid boredom, if the default is distractingly easy.

Its not super difficult but later in the game when you have different types of enemies attacking you at once it can get tough trying to either constantly switch stances or use one of your side weapons. Some of the duels are kinda tough too.

Play on lethal. Tighter parry and dodge windows and enemies do a ton of damage, but you do too. Fights are over pretty quickly and it's still satisfying because you have a lower margin for error

Hard mode (what I played on since lethal mode wasn't patched in yet) is a little more difficult because the enemies are spongier, but it gets old wailing on the same elite mongol. Still piss easy
