I've been playing for 7 years now and I still feel like I don't know half the relevant players in the league. I just draft based off of expert rankings and then look at yahoo add trends to work the waiver wire. I've won the regular season twice and finished runner up in the playoffs twice so this is somewhat working, but I'd like to increase my knowledge before this draft. Other guys in the league are so far ahead on closer injuries and up and coming prospects that I never catch on in time.
What resources are the best? Been trying to listen to the razzball podcast on my commute but the guys are so boring. I usually read pitcherlist and use athletic/jake ciely rankings but after the top 50 or so players it's a crapshoot on draft night.
