I need to bump up to a bigger pot for jambalaya.
What suggestions on pot and burners do you guys have?
I have burner but it is a littl small and better suited for a fish fry.
King Kooker looks to have a nice little combo set. Suggestions?

Where do you live? Check out Galvez Hardware in Prairieville. Their selection looked a little light last week. If you don’t see a 5 gallon set up, ask them about one and they can order it.

R&R Welding Paulina might pay a little more but the wind screen and casters are worth it

Gary Matte Hardware
They are similar price to R&R, but all aluminum construction. You can get the 5gallon pot/burner setup and then when you are ready to upgrade to a bigger pot you can do so with the same burner.

We bought the same set up from Gary Matte a few years ago. Not disappointed in it at all.

It also comes with SS rods so you can use it with flat bottom pots. I originally purchased with a 5gal pot and have upgraded to a 10 since then.
My only single complaint is that the handles on the burner are not more ergonomic.
I should also mention I have seen their setups sold in other hardware stores (for more money) closer this way east. I know I for sure saw somewhere in Houma.

I have a 5 gallon setup but if I had it to do again, I’d go with a 10 gallon. You can always cook less in a 10, but you can’t cook more in a 5. And a 10 gallon will make enough jambalaya to feed over 100 people well

For get togethers with family I can feed 10 people with my 2 gallon pot now. I usually have a little left over.
But that is usually just jambalaya with some bread. I don't usually do white beans with it.
Tadey, the rods for using flat bottom pots, would be nice. I would think with a high press regulator you do some crawfish.

I haven't used any flat bottom pots personally, but I like having the option. The burner certainly puts out a ton of heat if you want it to.
