5 gallon cast iron pot
doing a pastalya (not spaghetti noodles, likely doing bowtie or rotini)
I know its ratio of 1 quart of stock to 1 lb of noodles
But how many pounds of noodles will fit with the chicken and sausage
thanks for recommendations

How much water do you use for jambalaya? If you use 16 cups of water for jambalaya in the pot, then your answer is 4 pounds of pasta.
To answer your question, depending on how much meat you’re using, you can fit 5 pounds of pasta.

5lbs of chicken thighs
5lbs sausage
5lbs pork shoulder
So thinking 5 lbs of pasta with 5 quarts of water / stock
Think that will fit in a 5 gallon pot?
