A simple egg nog recipe? Which rum is best to use?

Made this one about a week ago; letting it age but did try some after one night in fridge. Excellent recipe from Alton Brown. Takes about 10-15 minutes, makes a lot of eggnog.

I did that recipe back in October. It was good tasting back then, but it is great now.

Smith and Cross Jamaican Rum. I've tried different ones, but this one pairs best IMO. I don't know where you live, but Acquistipace in Covington and Mandeville carry this one. If you can't find it, then grab a good Jamaican rum; it has a certain funk that works awesome in eggnog.
