Is it worth it? Are they good? I’ve heard mixed reviews from work, and friends.

One of my friends has been begging to go, so I’m finally caving in and going tonight.

Yes, it’s worth the cost. Arrive early or you’ll have to wait hours. The clientele isn’t exactly the best.

Did they advertise it as "JUICY"?
If so, you're screwed.

Why not just take a short ride out to Red's Restaurant in Maurepas? Their boiled seafood is legit.

This was the Queen Boil. 2 Crab leg clusters (1 snow, 1 dungeness) and a 1/2 pound of shrimp are under the lobster

Boiled blue crabs when they have them

40 bucks? For some chinese crab? No way that's worth it. I can just picture the crowd. Nah!

I plan on being so stoned that that crowd won’t bother me.

I guess I’ll find out tonight, I’ll report back on how the crab legs are.

I haven't been to a seafood buffet in a long time, but the last time I did, I ate some edibles beforehand and then absolutely annihilated about 8 plates of crab legs.

Enjoy!

I’m sorry, to each their own. But I can’t imagine a world where I’m lining up to spend $45 on crab legs at a casino. I’d sooner spend $45 for the privilege to avoid that experience.

Why not? I’m sure you’ll pay $40 at any other crab restaurant and that’s not all you can eat.

Why are so many people so against the idea of going to a casino to dine? Is it just because the people there don’t look like you?

Crab are caught, cooked, frozen, and shipped to restaurants. Restaurants just heat them up and add whatever butter flavor and seasoning they want. It’s not like the casino has bad crab, it’s the same as any restaurant or grocery store.

off topic but does anyone remember a seafood buffet in Brusly (I think?) from the late 80s/early 90s? I remember going with my grandparents like it was a huge deal

I guess if this special was at Ruth’s Chris people would rave about it because of the environment.

We were at a buffet one time that had all you can eat crab legs. I witnessed one of the most violent sister against sister altercations anyone might ever imagine at the pan of crab legs. Scary....

No.

It's because they don't act anything like I do. They have no respect for anyone else. They barely have respect for themselves. And they treat everyone including the staff like shite.

Go talk to the workers there if you want the non pg rated version of the above

I’m sure I won’t. I’m guessing it’ll cost more. When I was in Baltimore for work recently I spent $65 for a crab cake.

I don’t like the idea of eating at a casino because the food is made in as large of portions as possible to be consumed by as many people as possible. There is little to no concern about quality.
