I brought a dozen or so with me cross-county for thanksgiving and they were a big hit with my parents.

Does anyone have any experience with local companies that ship satsumas? Doesn’t necessarily have to be local I suppose, but I would have a little more faith in some delicious home growns.

Google searching gives some results, but I don’t know if my parents could eat a whole bushel before they go bad.

TIA

I've been seeing them here in NJ for a couple of years. Bought some a couple of days ago and shared with some friends, they loved them

The LA crop was very poor according to TWILA. In fact, the LA Farm Bureau is not offering them for sale this year. The same species of Satsuma is also grown in CA and are available now. I buy them in HEB stores in TX. They are smaller but taste the same.
